Following our place as a Regional Finalist in the 2014 Wedding Industry Awards we thought we’d share our amazing feedback from our Bride’s & Groom’s. Thank you to all who voted, we are hugely grateful and reading the comments below left us feeling immensely proud.
We are thrilled to announce that we have been accepted as an approved caterer at the new and stunning Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth. If you’re looking for a distinctive and memorable setting for a special event, or you want to make the most of state-of-the-art business conference facilities, the new Mary Rose museum is the ideal venue.
The Food Hygiene scheme is run by local authorities in England, Wales and Northern Ireland in partnership with the Food Standards Agency. Each business is given a ‘hygiene rating’ when it is inspected by a food safety officer from the business’s local authority. The hygiene rating shows how closely the business is meeting the requirements of food hygiene law.
We always have great intentions to update our blog through the summer but we never have as much times sat at our desks as we’d like! Luckily there is facebook and twitter which we do update on a more regular basis, as this can be done while we are in the thick of the action, which, let’s face it is much more fun?
More exciting news is that we have made it to the regional finals for the 2014 Wedding Industry Awards. We are keeping our fingers crossed for the next stage and thank all our Brides & Grooms from the past year for voting for us, we really do appreciate it!
Well it’s been a busy few months with events and meeting our 2013 clients and brides but this week saw us working on a very worthy project. Lee Thomas from The National Apprenticeship Service asked us to cater for his lunch events in the local area as part of the sixth annual National Apprenticeship Week. The Week, is designed to celebrate Apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses and the economy.
We received a call in October last year for us to cater a landmark (we won’t say what age) birthday party locally to us, with the brief being that all organisation and event management was left to us. We met up with the family shortly after to discuss the overall look and outcome they wanted to achieve being a January party.
The usual summer story continues, we have been busy with weddings and are always blessed with such great Bride’s & Groom’s. We just had to share some feedback from last weekend from not only the Bride & Groom but also the Mother of the Bride, and then the Groom again, so rewarding to receive this after a long working weekend…..
Phew, what a busy week so far and what great weather, eventually! We have just finished packing down from a fantastic event for BMW’s pre-Olympic celebrations at Somerley House, near Ringwood. It was an amazing event for everyone involved, everything went to plan and all of the guests had a truly memorable evening.
We are half way through the weeks catering for the Panerai Classic Yacht Regatta in Cowes and it’s been the busiest so far out of the 3 years we have been doing this event. Great fun though as usual working alongside EMG and Panerai, check out our facebook page for some more images.
