More wonderful feedback…

Following our place as a Regional Finalist in the 2015 Wedding Industry Awards, for the second year running, we thought we’d share our amazing feedback from our Bride’s & Groom’s. A HUGE THANK YOU to all who voted, we are hugely grateful and reading the comments below left us feeling immensely proud.

I rarely leave reviews or vote in awards but Red Herring were simply superb, both in the days leading up to the wedding and on the actual day. We’ve had so many comments about the quality of the lamb served on the day and the general attitude of the staff on the day. If would whole heartedly recommend Red Herring.

Red herring made our day run so smoothly. Which is all you need. The food was incredible and staff so friendly and accomadating to our needs and our guests too. As a designer myself, I also really appreciated their artistic flair both with the food and the decor. An all round fantastic company that made our wedding day the best day of our lives.

I genuinely can’t fault them. From the second we started working with them, they were reassuring, professional and full of creative ideas to make our food not only delicious, but also memorable. Steve is clearly a foodie and ensures the food is up to scratch. Laura and Emma are stars and Simone is the epitome of calm and organisation. I trusted all of them completely and they exceeded all our expectations. Our guests loved the food and we had the best (and yummiest) day of lives.

Our top priority for our day, was great food! Steve was brilliant at coming up with ideas & helping us to finalise our food choices. Emma/Laura were great at putting together our very detailed proposal, which ensured everything ran smoothly on the day. Simone & her team were fabulous both in the preparation day & on the actual day, so professional & really helped to remove any stress. The food was absolutely fantastic, looked beautiful, had the wow factor and tasted amazing! Thank you!

The number of comments about the presentation, food and overall service on the day spoke volumes! Whilst we had an idea on what we wanted for our wedding breakfast, Red Herring interpreted this into something to impress everyone and meet everyone’s needs; the chef surpassed our expectations. The only thing I was disappointed about was that I couldn’t finish it all! The service was outstanding and Simone the head waitress recognised the finer details and ensured they were met.

Red Herring, and particularly Steve, were absolutely outstanding. The quality and attention to detail surpassed even my high expectations and we were so happy with everything; food, service, logistics. The list goes on. Thank you so much to the team for an amazing day. We are not planning to get married again…but if we did, we would certainly be calling Steve again.!

Red Herring were extremely professional right from the start. We had some original ideas for our menu on a limited budget and had a call from Steve the manager personally to talk us through the options and prices, explaining areas where we may be able to save money. We were invited to a personal tasting session and were made to feel like VIPs! Everything on the day was perfect- food was as outstanding as at the tasting session and service was impeccable, and many guests commented on this also.

Red Herring were absolutely amazing! The food was of Michelin star quality and even our most picky guest loved it. The service was outstanding and the way they realized our ideas on the day was amazing. I would totally and without doubt recommend Red Herring!

This is the testimonial I wrote after our wedding which says it all. Your team are so professional. I would never look at any other Catering company apart from RH and would recommend you to everyone and anyone. The room was out of this world and as Simone said she has never received so many wows as she opened the doors. A stunning setting, the most delicious food, a truly professional and friendly events team, a magical chef.

RH went above and beyond on our wedding day – I mentioned that my fiance loved a specific starter from a london restaurant and they went to london to get a monogrammed plate and create the starter for him on the day. The food was amazing – they made betroot and goatscheese macaroons – at our request – as canapes which were wonderful and couldnt have been easy to make. We had so many comments from our guests about the food – they really put thought and love into their creations! they should win!!
